Keepsake boxes

Jewelry box.  The dovetail construction of the case is made using figured maple trimmed in purple heart.  The top is a radial pattern of inlay bubinga framed by purple heart.  The tray is removable and lined in red velvet to complete the warm color theme..

TT's memorial box was designed to commemorate the memory of a devout Christian woman.  It holds her well worn Bible and some precious jewelry.  The walnut cross is set as an inlay to the raised panel maple lid.  Some of the construction images are copied here as well.
